Opera gloves end above the elbow, typically 16-23 inches in length from the tip of the fingers and work well with sleeveless or strapless gowns, including the full skirted strapless Ball Gowns. For the fuller upper arms or shorter arms the Opera gloves are still a good option as they look very elegant pushed down and softly scrunched around the elbows having a more slimming effect.
Matte Satin is the preferred fabric to coordinate with most of today's Wedding gowns as the gloves will have more of a pearl like sheen. However, the "shiney satin" gloves are also available.
